The busbar is the electrical and mechanical connector between the anode and the power supply. Every industry or steel plant has its preference for the type of busbars, so a there is a large variety of types. IAT can consult you with choice, and can supply the following type:
- Pure Titanium
- Iron core Titanium clad
- Copper core Titanium clad
- With or without coated surfaces on the connections between anode and busbar
Even the best anode does not work when the busbar is not adequate, which can result in poor plating results. Therefore we can consult you with your selection, in which several aspects have to be taken care of, such as mechanical strength, corrosives fumes, current, current distribution through the anode, contact area et cetera.
